problem with clients pluggin within bitnami trac stack

I have been somehow able to install the clients pluggin but the "clients" menu does not show on my admin area.
If I do edit the client table in sqllite directly, for example creating a new record, it does show on the tickets client dropdown list.

is there any configuration I can tweak to make this clients menu show?

It sounds like the plugin is not loading correctly. Please take a look at t:TracLogging, and see if you can pull any useful information from trac.log.

There are likely other 0.12-compatibility issues, but please test out the latest version of the trunk and create tickets for each specific issue you find. Thanks.
