Clone ticket body gets clobbered by ticket template

There is a defect that occurs when TracTicketTemplatePlugin is enabled and a user clicks the clone button. The new ticket is cloned properly, then the TicketTemplatePlugin's Javascript fires and clobbers the cloned description.

Same problem here.

I would really like to use both plugins, but had to turn off TracTicketTemplatePlugin in order to avoid this negative side effect on cloning.

Any suggestion or workaround is welcome.

I tested with the 1.0 branch​ of TracTicketTemplatePlugin and Trac 1.0.9. The argument ​preview is set when submitting Clone and TracTicketTemplatePlugin doesn't reapply the template​.

If you have the latest TracTicketTemplatePlugin installed and can reproduce, please provide more details. Thanks.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Richard Liao.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment

E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences.
