Hmm, I guess calendar isn't the best medium for displaying deadlines. I guess it could probably be rendered as a 24 hour event preceding the deadline timestamp, so that it stands out, and it's immediately visible where the actual deadline is. What do you think?

I'm happy you assigned this ticket =) Unfortunately I don't understand your question completely.

But I think it should be presented as an 24 hour event. If you look at the iCal-Export of the Trac-Roadmap, there are also 24 hour events, I think.
