Copy (ick) the DatabaseManager from Trac, and use the backend support there for our connections to the central database holding the trac_users, trac_cookies, and trac_permissions tables for the DbAuthPlugin.

This will have to be for the 0.10.x branch. Given the code in 0.9.x, it won't work.

Out of curiosity, what prevents you from using the regular trac database?

Gunnar, thanks for the reminder. This ticket is closed, fixed with the 0.10 version of this plugin. I see you set the release to Trac 0.8, which does not support plugins, and I don't believe this can be back-ported to 0.9 for code reasons in Trac. My advice? Upgrade Trac to the trunk version 0.10 and use the 0.10 version of this plugin.

I think someone reconfigured this installation. It wasn't set before but got set when I added myself to CC. I didn't touch this field.

Mhm. I'm not sure yet. I'm using Fedora Core 5 and installed from the RPM.
