macro works not

I put the line [[MilestoneCompact()]] in a wiki page after submit changes there is just the line [[MilestoneCompact()]].

I have to correct the view after submit changes there I can see only

How did you install the macro? Try copying milestonecompactmacro/0.11/MilestoneCompactMacro.py

to the plugins directory of your Trac environment. Also, when you go to the WikiMacros page of your trac's wiki, [[MilestoneCompact]] should be listed under Available macros, it appears at the bottom of the list for me.

If this doesn'y help, please tell me are you seeing (a) the red box with the "Error: Failed to load processor..." message, or (b) just the literal text [[MilestoneCompact()]]?

I did it install as you described. Under Available macros I can see just the literal text. The same like my wiki pages. Under plugins I can see the MilestoneCompactmacro and it's enabled.

I'm sorry I don't know what else to suggest. With the macro installed in the plugins directory I have a wiki page with the following content:

= Milestones =

[[MilestoneCompact()]]

== Same information in a table ==

[[MilestoneCompact(table)]]

and it works just as expected (0.11 - that's important).

What I don't understand is why, when I put [[MacroThatDoesNotExist()]] in a page, I get an error, but you're saying you just get the literal text. I assume you're not enclosing it in {{{ in any way.

Thanx for your help. I changed the Trac revision also and now it works.
