Allow tags on wiki page elements (i.e. headings and sub-headings)

This is a 'would be nice'. I might have a collection of pages which describe software component functionality. I want it all in one place, but it is going to be implemented in stages (e.g. 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, ...). I have a release page which describes the overall objectives and functionality of the release. Some components will be released in stages. It would be nice to "tag a heading" or some other object which is smaller than an entire wiki page (which might have functionality description that spans releases). Then on the release page for 1.0 I could include a list of links to all components marked 1.0.

BTW - if there is already another way to do this I'd appreciate a pointer.

There isn't currently a way to do this, but it could theoretically be done with a plugin implementing ITagProvider.

It won't go into tags itself though, sorry.
