AccountMangerPlugin Installation Error

Description

Hi There,

I have a Problem with installing the AccountManagerPlugin.

When i type: "easy_install ​http://trac-hacks.org/svn/accountmanagerplugin/trunk"

I get the Error : "error: Couldn't find a setup script in /tmp/easy_install-20P7hQ/spam-filter"

That happens every time, when i try to install Plugins.

My Trac Version is 0.11, ihave Python 2.5.

Status: new → closed

Have you tried deleting that tmp folder for "spam-filter"? This error doesn't seem to be specific to the AccountManagerPlugin, but maybe a directory w/ some bad data that's triggering a bug in setuptools. Also, check that you've updated to the latest setuptools (0.6c8) and try again. If the problem persists please ask on the ​t:MailingList, since this appears to be a general installation issue, not a bug in the plugin.

Action

The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences.
