plugin not functional without further install info

Description

okay, so what mysql database does the table go into? And where is the connect string info go that tells trac where and how to login? This is pretty basic information to be left out of the install instructions!

I second the above comment. I istalled the plugin no problem, but of course it does not work as it needs more configuration. Would somebody please put something in the TeamCalendarPlugin Trac Hacks wiki page that explains how to get this plugin working?

Sorry, I've got very limited time at the moment.

We run Trac on a MySQL database (i.e. not sqlite). The new tables go into the same database that trac is using. It may work in sqlite or postgres too, but I don't know.

Summary: install guide needs more info in it!plugin not functional without further install info

after installing when viewing /teamcalendar i get:

 Trac detected an internal error:
OperationalError: no such table: team_availability

i assume this is an instance of this issue.

added some warnings and installation info that i might have understood to TeamCalendarPlugin. please review someone and close.

I am really struggling with out installation guidelines.

The idea of the plugin is great - but not sure how to config. This is the error I get after installing plugin and adding table.

ProgrammingError: column "2010-11-01" does not exist
LINE 1: ...ailability FROM team_availability WHERE ondate >= "2010-11-0...

In 16051:

1.0.0dev: Use Trac 1.0 database API

  • Create tables on Environment upgrade (fixes #4115)
  • Store dates as UTC timestamps (fixes #9925)
  • Use executemany (fixes #11288)

This change is not compatible with the previous version.
