#5578 new enhancement

Autosave (or save as draft) for wiki pages

Reported by: gilkup@… Owned by: anybody
Priority: normal Component: Request-a-Hack
Severity: major Keywords:
Cc: Trac Release: 0.10

Description

I'm looking for a plugin that would allow me to save pages automatically. I want to avoid a situation in which I'm writing a long wiki page, then forget to submit it, the browser crashes, etc' and all the work is lost.
I mean auto save like in gmail which save the draft during compose new email.

  • Summary changed from auto save to Autosave for wiki pages

You might take a look at DataSaverPlugin.

Another idea, which would allow more flexibility, would be to have a save as draft feature. The FullBlogPlugin has a plugin that allows postings to be saved as a draft when the draft keyword is added to the tags field.
