Description

This plugin should allow users to select a group of tickets and change values for all selected tickets.

Uses:

  • Team member leaves/new team member. Rather than go through editing each ticket one by one, an admin is able to reassign tickets as needed.
  • An immediate security release is required, Milestone/release versions are updated to properly reflect what was changed.
  • Users that have implemented their own data values (such as workflow indicators), may need to make mass changes as development progresses

From the workflow example: A build is released. All tickets referring to work that has been committed, but not yet able to be tested/verified need to have their value changed to reflect the new build, and new workflow status

this is not fixed by Batch Modify Plugin.

Well, I'm using BatchModifyPlugin (r4447) in combination with Trac 0.11, and it indeed is possible to change the owner of tickets.

Agreed.

I do this all the time. I don't "reassign" I batch change the owner and status at the same time. Again closing this ticket, if I can.

I'm currently implementing such a plugin. I'll reopen this ticket for that purpose.

I've already abandoned this project again as it's much more complicated than I thought.
