Hi,

I wonder if the plug in will be updated for 0.12+ or 0.13. It is very useful plugin but it is broken in higher versions due to utf-8 incompatibility.

Unless you would like to provide the patch, I don't have the time available to maintain this any longer.

I was planning on take over maintainership of this plugin if it was alright with coderanger, and I imagined it would be okay since I'm maintaining so many of his other plugins. I won't be able to throw any serious effort at this for another month though.

Maybe you have the names of groups using Unicode characters? I'll do some testing and see if that results in any errors.

I'd really like to get some further description of the issue you encountered. I changed the source encoding to utf-8, but that shouldn't make a difference as far as I know since there aren't any utf-8 encoded strings in the source. I tried creating groups with utf-8 characters in their names under Trac 0.12, and that seems to work fine.
