I'd like to request to adopt the PermRedirectPlugin if the maintainer no longer wishes to maintain it. I see the plugin is tagged needsadoption and has had no commits in several years.
I'd like to at least apply the patch in #2210 which I've been using in production for a while, and has had a number of comments from other users wanting to see it applied. The lack of this patch really limits the usefulness of the plugin. I would also be happy to investigate the other open tickets for the plugin though I haven't done so yet.
I would also restructure the repository to match the most current conventions (having a /trunk/ instead of maintaining separate versions for each Trac release) and would follow up with the author to gain PyPI access so I could make a new release of the plugin there.
