#2047 closed defect (wontfix)

BlogShow command in the main Blog page causes havoc

Reported by: szm Owned by: John Hampton
Priority: normal Component: TracBlogPlugin
Severity: major Keywords: BlogShow
Cc: Trac Release: 0.10

Description

Placing a BlogShow command (and presumably BlogPost) in the main Blog causes major display problems, I suspect that it is recursing or attempting to recurse the display of the blog. One of my users mistakenly put a BlogShow command in a New Blog Post on the main Blog page. To fix the problem it was necessary to do a Read Post on each entry and look for the offending BlogShow command. Removing this command fixed the display problems.

TracBlogPlugin is only for 0.10, as noted on the wiki page. Trac 0.10 is dead now. For blog support, see FullBlogPlugin, which works for Trac 0.11 and later.
