Back References

Important: The actual Path could not be applied to the current development version. There is no easy way to fix that, but I've further plans to get back to the 0.11..

Description

You want to know which entries got a reference to your ticket? This is your solution. Back References lists all references to actual shown ticket. It includes wiki entries, changesets and ticket descriptions and comments on other tickets. Easy but very usefull. If you comment your commit with the ticket number you automatically get this reference in the ticket.

• With the actual version you got also backref's for changesets and wiki entries.

• Following the links of backref's will color the references.

• Backport for 0.10.4 also available

How to Install

To apply the patch just:

cd path/to/trac/src/trac
patch -p1 < backref.patch
python setup.py install

If you got no command to patch under windows, look at http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/. It comes without any depencies.
