I have a select field with many values, so it would be useful having an editable select field with filtering capability. I've searched a plugin for this but didn't find anything

I've created such a plugin as prototype at ​https://github.com/jun66j5/tracselectboxplugin. However, it is needed to tweak the styles of replaced select elements.

Set your email in Preferences
Action
as new The owner will remain anybody.
