TracHtmlNotificationPlugin not properly formatted in MS-Outlook

Reported by: wbeaucha Owned by: Jun Omae
Priority: low Component: TracHtmlNotificationPlugin
Severity: normal Keywords:
Cc: Trac Release: 1.0

Description

TracHtmlNotificationPlugin does a great job of formatting the SMTP notifications in browser based email, but the elephant that is Microsoft Outlook uses an outdated HTML processor module, and it doesn't look good. Apparently Outlook has a problem processing CSS.

Can you change the format so it looks good in Outlook too, or add an option to dumb it down to Outlook level?

Thanks!

No. I have never used Outlook. I don't plan to use and test it. However, you can customize htmlnotification_ticket.html using $ENV/templates.

Should I change file name of htmlnotification_ticket.html when put it on $ENV/templates?

I also have the same problems with notififaction format in MS Outlook. Template customization will be way for me. My last comment above.
