Can't see plugin in list

I see the plugin in the admin list only after a restart. Does it work after a restart?

Also, try and upload the plugin via the admin console, does it appear then?

I cannot reproduce this issue at all....

Are the permissions correct on the plugin file (Tracchildtickettreemacro-1.0.1-py2.5.egg), is it readable by the server process?

Please provide a listing of the plugin directory: ls -l /path/to/trac/env/plugins ...

Now I found a solution. It's strange for me but a developer will understand why it now works maybe.

Change in setup.py

install_requires = ['Trac>=0.12', 'Genshi>=0.5', 'Python>=2.4']

to

install_requires = ['Trac>=0.12', 'Genshi>=0.5'],

helps.

You know I'm using Python 2.5.4 but with the constraint 'Python>=2.4' it works not. It was hard to find but I'm happy now.

Just out of interest, does it work when you put in a constraint like:

install_requires = ['Trac>=0.12', 'Genshi>=0.5', 'Python>=2.5']
