Hi I wonder what data from those programs should look like in trac? Would you convert it one-time or sync it two-way? e.g.

  • Contact data from Addressbook.app to wiki pages?
  • iCal todos to trac tickets?

What would mails look like? Like wiki pages? For what? Regards,

Christian

I have some Cocoa-Code here that gets all ticket information via XML-RPC and puts the tickets as To Do Item in iCal. This mostly works, but only one-way. It could probably be enhanced to work both ways, but I just thought of a better solution. The idea would be to have a trac-plugin that simulates a caldav server. iCal (and many others) can sync over caldav.

CalDAV is a layer on top of WebDAV, so it could be enough to just write the tickets in .ics-Format to a folder that is then webdav'd by Apache (or some other webserver). I have not tried this, but if someone wants to do that, I'm willing to test.
