There should be a checkbox on the form that when checked:

  • Adds the external tag to the page
  • Skips the directory creation step
  • Doesn't add the Recent Changes section
  • Generates links to tickets, downloads and source using a user-specified URL.

We may even want two different options for more fine-grained control:

  • Code is hosted outside of trac-hacks?
  • Use trac-hacks issue tracker?

For both the former and latter, we could accept links to the external site, formatting the page and inserting the links.
