HttpAuthStore doesn't manage groups (username/password only, no groups)

Description

This is a feature that is completely missing in all the plugins I tried (and I tried the auth-related all). I had a look in the code but I don't know Python at all so I could only confirm myself that it doesn't manage groups. Is it possible to add that?

Do you mean something like the HtgroupsPlugin?

Status: new → closed

No, there is no group information available from HTTP authentication, so this is not a feasible request. As coderanger said there are other plugins that may handle this. If you can post to the ​trac:MailingList with some more information about the type of group information you're trying to use someone may be able to provide a suggestion.

Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Matt Good.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment

E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences.
