Description

I have saved DiaView.py into my /usr/share/trac/wiki-macros directory. I attached TracTest.dia to a page but [DiaView(TracTest.dia)]]] generates the following error:

Error: Macro DiaView(TracTest.dia) failed 'module' object has no attribute 'execute'

I am using Trac 0.10.2.

I have saved DiaView?.py into my /usr/share/trac/wiki-macros directory.

DiaView is a plugin, rather than a Macro (I think). You should probably put DiaView.py into (on your machine) /usr/share/trac/plugins.

I try to put DiaView.py in /usr/local/share/trac/plugins /usr/local/share/trac/wiki-macros projectdir/plugins projectdir/wiki-macros

restart web server

by always see

Error: Failed to load processor DiaView

No macro named DiaView? found

hmmm... On my machine (CentOS/RHEL), contrary to my prior statement, DiaView is in /opt/web/trac/plugins, not in /usr/local/trac/share/.../plugins. Sorry for the misdirection...

FYI: I'm on Trac 10.3.

Action
as closed The owner will remain arkemp.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
