Changes to hidden fields displayed in comments and timeline

Description

Even when a ticket field is hidden for an user (with ondenial=hide), changes made to it will be shown:

  • in the ticket comments
  • in the ticket RSS field
  • in the timeline (only the names of fields changed)
  • in the diff (url /ticket/NN?action=diff), with a diff that allows seeing the full text of the change.

I am marking it as "major", because it pretty much defeats the point of having hidden fields in the first place.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The ticket will remain with no owner.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment

E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences.
