Can you check the patch in #13477 to see if it fixes the problem? That worked for me -- I am running Trac 1.2.2 on FreeBSD.

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as new The ticket will remain with no owner.

Add Comment

E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences.
