Description
It would be practical to have the ability to download the eclipse update site in an archive. So one could easily put it in a local update site

Hi, this is anonymous :)
You must know I work in a relatively paranoid (backward ?) company in regard with Internet access, and I can browse the Web only on dedicated computers where I have no right to install an application.
Thus this request as it would make my life easier.
Anyhow I have decreased the priority and severity, and tagged this request as "enhancement".
Just that, if you figure out a way to implement this feature without much hassle for you (through automatisation maybe), it would be nice.
Thank you

The archived update site is now attached to the EclipseTracPlugin wiki page. I will upload it for every release.
Right now you can download locally the update site using subversion:
Then you should be able to update your Eclipse from the local site.
