Several developers cannot track time spent on the task into one ticket.

Description

When working on the same problem together sometimes you need to track time spent by several developers into one particular task. At the present time, in order to solve this problem we need to open a ticket for each developer. If team is rather large it seems very complicated and time-consuming to track work correctly. Could you please advise us on this issue? Thank you!

At my company, having many people clocking time on the same ticket is a regular occurrence, and we have never had any trouble with this. The time is based on who made that change to the ticket, not who owns or is assigned the ticket, so we have never had any trouble with this.

  • Why does each developer need to have his own ticket?
  • Is it that one of the reports is not providing you with the information that you need if they are all on the same ticket?

Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Russ Tyndall.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
