option or hack to make billable flag off by default

Description

It would be nice if there is a way to set the billable flag to be off by default. Our team is open source so we don't charge by the hour, but we use it to plan how long it takes developers to fix certain bugs and hopefully to improve the accuracy of our estimates in the long term.

You can change it by editing trac.ini file and setting billabe.value = 0 (it should be 1 in default installation).

Hi, What section of the trac.ini do I put it under? I tried under both the [components] section and the [tickets] section. Neither worked. Also you mean billable.value = 0 right? not billabe.value = 0.

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Russ Tyndall.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment

E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences.
