Log time for previous days or other people

When you work on a ticket, sometime you forget to log time.

So, in order to have correct dates on work logs, it would be nice to add capability :

• for a developer to log time for previous days
• for an admin to log time for previous days and for other people

good ideas. We typically just make a comment and note in the comment it was for the previous day.

to extract the correct date from any external tool it would be quite helpfull when it is in a seperate field and not somewhere in the comments - forcing the user to strong syntaxing.

I am really not sure what you mean. Would you care to expand? I am not sure what strong syntaxing is. Also, all of the data is stored in separate fields (other than time being added or subtracted, which is stored in a row of the ticket_change table.

Unless I get very motivated, I will probably not tackle this enhancement. I will leave it open at a low priority though, so that if someone else feels like supplying a patch, there will be a n easy place to.
