Filters Change After Adding Task

Description
If you have changed the default filters for the tasklist, then add a new task, the filters revert to the default filters.

Could you describe this with a bit more detail? Do you navigate away from the Task List page to create the new task?
If I navigate a way from the Task List page and return, the filters are reset to their defaults. However, if I create a new task through another browser tab and refresh the Task List page, the filters do not change, but the report updates to account for the new ticket.
