HTTP Auth allows for groups, why not use them?

Description
When you add a user, why not add 'em to a group, a la:

I'm unsure. It seems like you can choose to use either Apache auth or delegate to AccountManager.

Sorry, this reply comes really late, and sorry again, if this is too obviously to you. But at least I fail to understand it.
So what exactly do you suggest here?
