#3168 closed enhancement (wontfix)

Link actions to effects.

Description

Is it, or would it be, possible to link some of these effects to actions, or ticket status as defined in a custom workflow?

I.e., when ticket transitions from new to assigned, and the assigned user is viewing the ticket, I'd like to show some fields previously hidden, or disabled. for example, enable the estimated time box, and show some check boxes for the owner. then when the owner "accepts" the ticket (in my custom workflow), I do something in my own plugin based on those checkbox values. Also, the ticket status goes to "assigned" and now the estimate field is again grayed, and the check boxes are not seen again for the life of the ticket.

I am ok with doing some of this as a action handler, just curios of some/all of it could be done via ini settings, or even done via this plugin.

Thanks

Some/all of it sounds do-able, I'll look into it once I fix the bugs.
