Description

It would be great to set up a configuration value, which truncates the description in the table after X characters and appends ".." (or something similar) to longer description to indicate, that they are to long.

To prevent unwanted breaks and markup errors, it should not break quotes or codes (and so on), but remove them, if these blocks do not fit into the "short description".
