Is there a way to make the TOC macro to process also numbered headlines, and not just unnumbered headlines?

Sorry, I was incorrect. Ticket #4521 addresses a different issue.

The latest version of the TocMacro (v11.0.0.3) seems to handle this. However, it does not display all first-level headlines, both unnumbered or numbered ones.

Anyway, I do not think that technically the TOC support must be added into the NumberedHeadlinesPlugin, but the other way around.

Sorry, I got that wrong. The TocMacro only works when the patch from #4521 is applied, which was done in [6846].

(In [6852])

tracnumberedheadlines/plugin.py
Added config file options to select if the headline should be numbered in an outline (like PageOutline or TocMacro) and if CSS should be used for the numbering or not. Fixes #5241 and #4521.
