Do not log in the ticket's Change History and do not send notifications

It is ugly that each time you start/stop working on the ticket an entry is created in the ticket page and notifications are sent. It will be better if there is an option for just increasing the hour/total hours without making entries in the history and sending notification emails.

This would be a relatively major overhaul of the system to reduce its functionality.

The ticket changes log are how we tell who added what times when (which is important for accountability reasons). To cut back on extra email you might checkout NeverNotifyUpdaterPlugin. Alternatively you might check out the TracHoursPlugin which seems to more take your approach to time tracking (though I haven't looked into it too much).

As such I dont think I will pursue this.
