#6063 closed enhancement (worksforme)
Option to disable $ markup syntax

Description
The use of $ markup syntax has been confusing some people because $ is a frequently used symbol on our wiki for currency, whereas math macro markup is used by only a few. It would be a nice option if the $ markup sytax could be disabled, in which case the #!latex processor would have to be used.
Alternatively, the TracMathMacro could use a pair of symbols $$, rather than a single $.

Thanks for letting me know about that.
Another thing I realized when looking at this today, a single dollar sign is not processed by the Macro. However, I did observe the effect of the macro with lines such as:
$13,350 + $250 S&H
because there are two dollar symbols enclosing text.
