Adding hours via a comment with eclipse mylyn Trac integration double-counts the hours

Description

We're using Mylyn's Trac connector to work with Trac from inside of eclipse. If we add a comment from mylyn like "1 hour" we end up with two duplicate one hour time entires.

I'm not sure whether this affects other XmlRpc clients or just Mylyn.

We are using TracHoursPlugin 0.3.1 in Trac 0.11.5

The versions related to this ticket are really old ones, I have tested using:

  • Trac 1.2 and 1.0
  • TracXMLRPC 1.1.5
  • TracHoursPlugin 0.6.0.dev0
  • org.eclipse.mylyn.trac.core (3.21.0.v20160630-2019) "Mylyn Trac Connector Core"
  • org.eclipse.mylyn.trac.ui (3.21.0.v20160630-2019) "Mylyn Trac Connector UI"

Submitting hours via comments using Mylyn Trac Connector is working fine for me.
