[Fwd-to: Trac] alternative date field identifier in absence of id tag

Reported by: Steffen Hoffmann Owned by: jjbig
Priority: normal Component: CalendarPopUpPlugin
Severity: normal Keywords: templates
Cc: Trac Release: 0.11

Description

Not investigated much, but immediately found some date fields missing the id HTML-tag i.e. in

admin_versions.html admin_milestones.html

Do we need to fix this in Trac (templates) or is there an alternative (not yet invented) way? As far as I can see custom template changes would be quick but a serious pain in the long run, because this would have to be re-done locally on any Trac svn checkout or Trac release respectively.

Inserted admin_milestones.html on request of #5315.

admin_versions.html has no html id's the find them via javascript.

Those changes first need to be done there.

quick response, thanks, but no real solution for the problem, so I filed an enhancement-bug against Trac (see http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/9108), hope that will help
