I have the same problem - I've saved the entire "URL" to save the query. It would be nice if the button could work tho! =)

This has also been reported in #11285. Another issue is that the date range is not saved in the query, so we'll leave this ticket open to resolve that issue.

In 13599:

0.6dev: Fixed regression in [9707]. The Save query button was not functional. Fixes #11285, Refs #8517.

Just in order to clarify, what would be the desired behavior for this button?

Since regular queries (reports) are available in https://trac-hacks.org/report and the specific queries related to TracHoursPlugin under the /hour path work in different context and provide different views.

From my perspective, it looks like queries related to TracHoursPlugin should get stored and accessed under the path: /hours/query/list instead of the path: /report.

For the version 1.2, saving the query as a regular report is the current behavior for the button and the reason why the date range is not saved.

Should queries related to TracHoursPlugin get stored in the available page /hours/query/list?
