License and Source

Description

Thank you for publishing your plugin. I have two requests. Would you kindly add a license to the source code? If you have no preference, you could choose to use the 3-Clause BSD license that Trac uses. Also, I noticed that you published the egg and did not include the source code.

Or perhaps that's the source in the .bkp file? If so, why the extension after .py?

3-Clause BSD license is oke for me. The source code is in macro.py.bkp indeed, I use the .bkp extension to indicate that it is not the actual source file, because is has some _REPLACE strings as parameters in the file. This script is based on an other macro: SqlQueryMacro I contacted the Author and he was oke with redistributing this version.

Replying to fvdberg:

This script is based on an other macro: SqlQueryMacro I contacted the Author and he was oke with redistributing this version.

In that case it is probably good to retain the original authors license, which is also 3-Clause BSD.

Copying the license file from here and adding your name and the SqlQueryMacro author's name to the file would do the job.

One more request, would you mind adding the license file to the repository? There's a summary of good practices here: DevGuide#License.

Oke, I added the license file to the svn repository.
