Cannot change password for t-h.org

Description

  1. forgot my password
  2. used the reset_password link
  3. got a new (temporary?) password mailed
  4. log-in works with this pw
  5. trying to change the pw on the preferences page does not work, yields a warning: "old password is incorrect"
  6. logout
  7. login is not possible with the (temporary) pw anymore, need to get another one mailed

I had hoped this issue was resolved. I will try to take a look soon.

Also, registration trouble has been reported in comment:2:ticket:13600. I'll look at these two items together.

The problem is still present for me: Need to get a password mailed for each login, unable to permanently change my password.
