#13712 closed defect (fixed)

Make compatible with Trac 1.4

Reported by: Massimo Owned by: Cinc-th
Priority: normal Component: SimpleMultiProjectPlugin
Severity: normal Keywords:
Cc: Trac Release: 1.4

Description

At least on Trac-1.4 on /newticket I can see all components, versions and milestones on any project, even if some of them are restricted for only one project.

On /roadmap the filtering works. On /timeline the filter does not change the list.

In 17790:

SimpleMultiProjectPlugin: fix bug in timeline/rodmap preferences. Semantics for _RequestArgs.get() changed with Trac 1.3.2.

Possibly Refs #13712.

I can't see the problem on my system. Filtering works for me for roadmap and timeline with Trac 1.4.2. Nevertheless there're some other bugs which may or may not cause your specific problem.

Make sure the ticket custom field project is defined otherwise the ticket page won't work properly in any case.

In 17791:

SimpleMultiProjectPlugin: project list in timeline prefs (and probably roadmap too) wasn't properly populated when any project was marked as closed. While iterating over a list the list was altered in a subfunction.

Possibly Refs #13712.

In 17792:

SimpleMultiProjectPlugin: no longer use ITemplateStreamFilter for Timeline page. Remove its usage for component SmpRoadmapProjectFilter.
Added some test cases for checking project select control used in preferences panes.

Refs #13840

While at it:

  • Project selection on Timeline page always overwrote Roadmap preferences.
  • Roadmap selection was applied to Timeline page

Possibly Refs #13712.

Resolution: fixed
Status: acceptedclosed

With migration to the new permission system (see #13850) and the move to a new license (see #13849) the ticket page handling was rewritten.

The problems described in this ticket are solved. Note that the new permission system requires a review of your user permission settings wrt projects.
