i'm a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge fan of the [​http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/GraphvizPlugin GraphvizPlugin]! :)

would the author consider implementing a similar plugin for ​gnu's plotutils?

there's this nifty program called ​umlgraph that uses graphviz to generate class diagrams and pic2plot to generate sequence diagrams.

i'm already littering my wiki pages with graphviz diagrams. would be nice if i could do the same with pic2plot.

#1263 and #4806 were closed as duplicates. The latter has a (minimalistic) patch.

#4806 has patch to implements this functionality. Planned to support gnuplot?

Eventually yes. This could end up in a different plugin than the GraphvizPlugin, but there would be a lot of code in common, so I'd like to experiment a few possible refactorings.

It`s fune. You do not find that this plug-in has a lot in common. It may be to rename it? For example: ExternalGraphPlugin or simple GraphPlugin I'm using gnuplot to graph in the Trac is often. Maybe this is someone you need.
