Description
it would be a nice feature to have tracbacks between projects or even between different instances so long as intertrac linking was functional.

Would you be able to use the XmlRpcPlugin to communicate between Trac instances? Seems like it would be difficult because usernames are not necessarily the same on each system. As shown in TracBacksPlugin#Example, a trac-backs uses the commenter's username to insert the comment.

I think the first step here is to stop TracBacks from creating links within the same project when the InterWiki format used some-other-env:#50
. Any arguments?

I'm about to install this plugin and would also like to have this functionality. All instances share the same users and the same InterTrac aliases, in my case. Did anyone made this work ?

TracBacks will at least need to be installed on the instance where tickets are commented on
