Take over AnnouncerPlugin maintainership

Description

I would like to take over the maintainership of the announcerplugin. There hasn't been a commit in 5 months and there are lots of pending tickets. What do you say?

I would certainly be in favor of more active maintenance of this plugin. I have a test trac installation working, including the AnnouncerPlugin. However, it was a bit of a hassle to dig through the active tickets and apply patches to get all of the necessary functionality working properly.

In my case, I had to apply patches from #3243 and #2697 to get this plugin to work properly. I recently noticed another odd issue with the To: line that seems to be addressed with another open ticket.

I think that the functionality provided by this plugin is very useful, especially wiki change notifications and html emails for ticket changes.

Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Stephen Hansen.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
