Description
Here is a partial (~50%) French translation. I would like to do more but I don't have enough time for now. :)
Note : I'm sorry I found no way to directly push translations on transifex...

Done so far. I'll leave this ticket open for you and other to attach more translations. You may still decide to close it and send updates directly to me at a later time without caring about this ticket anymore. That's up to you now.
Keep up the good work! I'd certainly love to get more from you, as French is missing from a number of other Trac plugins too.

Thanks for comments! Here are my replies:
- About quotes, you're certainly right. Actually I thought english text was good enough, but this looked too strange in french. I'll pay attention next time and will send you remarks as needed.
- Oh, sorry about the missing space, I didn't see it.
- Well, I marked the translation as fuzzy because I meant it! This was not a mistake. However I'll try completing the translation with right sentences...
And as a general note, I could not translate that much because of the lack of context comments (and the lack of time, but that's different!). If you feel putting some hints, that would help much.
Thanks a lot. I'll try to make another pass as soon as I can.

(Sorry for bad message formatting, I didn't see it's v0.10 and used same formatting as v0.12 :) )
comment:6 Changed 14 years ago by
Never mind the formatting here. (BTW I've got a clean copy via email :-)
Regarding 3.: Sorry it looked not bad to me (as a German). Anything else was just to explain my steps, in case you compare and wonder later on.
Well, I've done i18n work for this plugin, so I should be able to answer your questions on any msgid you put up on the table here, even if I'll certainly not remember everything at first glance. It hasn't been yesterday, when I did this, and many other things have got my attention and creeped into memory too. I there anything especially hard? Just tell me, as you'll certainly not be interested to have commented literally everything, right? Not that I'd be able to do that in a timely manner...

See https://lists.trac-hacks.org/pipermail/th-users/2011-June/000518.html for a call to complete as many translations for upcoming acct_mgr-0.3 release. Please drop me a note, if you think you could do something (update to latest message catalog before), but need little more time. French is a must-have in Trac core, why not it in AcctMgr as well? Would be nice to hear from you.

Sadly, there has been no progress before the release of acct_mgr-0.3, anyway, this ticket type is certainly more appropriate.

Ping, any news? Didn't check Transifex yet, but more French translations would be very welcome to go into acct_mgr-0.4
, that should be ready for release within a few days from now.

I checked Transifex several times before and after recent catalog updates. Even an dedicated call to improve French translation for !AcctMgr has not yielded any activity so far.
With recent msgid additions the percent completed even dropped to 34 % now, making it second to last place in the row of available translations. Sorry, that I can't proceed with this one.

Thank you for your contribution.
I've done a review prior to committing this to
trunk
. Comments follow below. Transifex is a different thing and I'll have to postpone that, until I've solved my current technical issues with the new code management interface - Transifex client.Well, what I've found are just things to improve, nothing technically wrong, ok? First and foremost, don't care about putting any line break ('\n') in translations. Simply leave the msgid's formatting alone, just write your texts and let Babel do the rest with another
python ./setup.py update_catalog
run afterwards. I've verified a couple of times, that the final rendering is independently of that line break markup, so it's just wasting disk space and your time putting it in and maybe even re-arranging it from time to time. The added quotes are not language-specific, right? I favor to do such improvements for msgid, not only msgstr, if you'll bring it to my attention, please.
Watch out for the trailing whitespace here. I know this is tricky, and I should have added a Translator comment there long ago. The space is needed since the following msgid is added right behind. I've fixed this too.
Avoid translations marked
fuzzy
as they're not included by default. And you'll certainly want to see, what you've done, right? Finally I've added you as the first translator to the PO file header, with proper year and project name (always the plugin, not the overall project, please). More changes may come from using gettext tools through Babel to update/fix code as mentioned above.
