extra permissions not considered when assigned via group

I created multiple ticket types having different workflows assigned. The actions defined are controlled via extra-permissions added for the sake of specific control of the different steps. Assigning such extra-permissions the the very users works fine, while if I try to assign them via groups the seem not to be considered.
