Description

the requests for the .png files (rendered by dot) lead to the search page

a workaround is to add ext = html png on trac.ini. ... this field looks quite unnatural to me.

The workaround doesn't work for me. I have these options in trac.ini: 

[doxygen]
path = /var/www/libdodo.org/docs
wiki_index = DoxyGen
html_output = html
default_documentation = trunk
ext = html png

I see that image appeared while the page is being loaded but one it's finished to load the image disappears.

Generating doxygen docs with HTML_DYNAMIC_SECTIONS = NO works fine.

In 15358:

DoxygenPlugin: new implementation of IRequestHandler methods. In particular, the "path" parameter in the query-string is droped. This fixes #772 #951 #962 #1564 and #2702 who complain about the security vulnerability it may contain, and other wrong path generations.
